Detail shots of some #ink #sketch work this week! I am really digging #inktober, it’s forcing me to experiment with some new styles. If you have any requests for #illustrations you would like to see, comment! <3

Daily Sketches by Stormblood
In case you do not follow my official Facebook Page, here are some random Daily Sketches that I have done! It is my favorite way to set followers up with a chance at an affordable original piece of art.
I do an Ink illustration on a 6”x 8” Archival paper and post it to the page, then the first person to message me gets it for $16 (domestic shipping) or $20 (international shipping).
Usually the illustration will sell within the first 10 minutes of posting (36 seconds was the record XD), and definitely within the first hour. It is a fun way to own an original piece of art, but based on your participation with the page rather than the size of your wallet. ;)

20,000 Leagues Below - A Sculpted Story Necklace
A naturally curious creature, this octopus is exploring the sides of a marine vessel while holding her found-treasure from the depths below: a human skull. The entire sculpted piece is 3-dimensional from the barnacles on the side of the underwater vessel, to the golden eyes of the octopus….and every single little sucker on her winding tentacles.
I normally do custom neckpieces for clients, but I will now start releasing OOAK statement pieces to the public from time-to-time. Enjoy! :D
This Necklace for sale Here.
My Nautical Chest Piece sculpt is still not chained, but I am liking how it turned out! This was a terrible phone shot, but the main green coloring is a shimmery peridot. :3
And I had to represent at Norwescon last night, so I sported the Ram Skull chest piece (Classy hotel bathroom shot ftw)
Finished the sculpt for my new necklace! I made some improvements and adjustments from my original sketch design. Now it’s paint time.
The globular outer corners reminded me of Bioshock. They reminded a FB user of a pope hat. “Cephalopope!!!!”.

As the decrepit label read:

Description: Specimen collected during a full moon phase. Note: removed hide stays lupine — L. S. 1687”

Steamcon IV was amazing. Some of you may already know, but I had a Stormblood Curiosities booth at Steamcon, this weekend! I was lucky enough to be a featured Artist in Artist’s Alley.
I did not get any time to go out and take pictures of all the FABULOUS attendees and fellow artists, but I do have a few pics in my Album on the official FB page. Check them out, if you have a moment, and I would love to hear from anyone out there who attended!!!
Great Elephant, “Machines of the Island”
The Machines, now used as tourist attractions, are located on the Ile de Nantes at the crossroads of “imaginary worlds” of Jules Verne, the mechanical universe of Leonardo da Vinci, and the industrial history of Nantes (Tourism Nantes Métropole).
